MESA HILLS BIBLE CHURCH

About

Mesa Hills Bible Church was an absolutely amazing experience for my family. We attended the 10:15-11:45 am service and the sermon was given by Pastor Tim Dane. The people there were lovely and very welcoming. The worship was very classic, allowing parishioners to follow along in a provided hymnal, as well as including a Psalm accompanied by piano and organ. There was a scripture reading before the sermon began and offering plates were passed around during an additional music performance. Children are able to stay for worship and then are optionally dismissed to Sunday School. The sanctuary was also very bright inside.

Amenities

Their youth group meets on Sunday mornings at 9 and Wednesday nights at 7 in the church building. Children are able to attend Sunday School and Awanas. There is also a VBS in the summer, and nursery is provided during Sunday Service. Additionally, while not a church sanctioned activity, concealed carry classes are occasionally provided. Other speakers are also at the church from time to time.

Views

Homosexuality 

God originally made woman for man and man for woman. The Bible does say that male-male and female-female relationships are an sin. In this sin however, we can try to pursue them and introduce them to the Gospel.

Abortion

Life begins at conception. Taking this into account, abortion is wrong. A baby is still a human life, and should not be taken on account of the wrongs of its father or mother. Regardless, the parents can still be loved no matter what stage of this they are going through.

Israel-Hamas

There is a long history to the land of Israel and the conflict of the Palestinians. However, the land was provided to Abraham and his descendants centuries ago. Other

Their usage of the Bible was extremely straight forward. Entire passages were read, and nothing was taken out of context. In addition, only one version of the Bible was used so as not to confuse people.

Conclusion

Mesa Hills Bible Church is a Christ-driven place that is very classic. It has an open and tight-knit community that lifts each other up in celebration of their faith. They often pray for family and friends as they open the service, and they provide many opportunities to get to know Jesus better.
